Your First Week
Day 1
Wednesday
Okay, its your first night in Sunny Beach so that call for one thing and one thing only…time to get messy. Starting with a 2 hour free bar in the hotel and then hitting some of the best (and cheapest) bars that the infamous strip has to offer before ending our night in Sunny Beach’s biggest club. Prepare yourself and remember its a marathon not sprint!
Day 2
Thursday
After a heavy night theres no better hangover cure than sunbathing around the pool with a ice cold cocktail. Recharge the batteries ready for a family meal in one of Sunny Beach’s best spots followed by one or two cocktails. Now that we have the first big night out of your system its time to get working on that dream summer job, so have a quiet one and make sure your up early.
Day 3
Friday
Fix up, look sharp, this morning is all about securing that perfect job you have dreamt about! Remember you only get one change to make a first impression. After a long morning on the job hunt its time to continue the party. We hit one of Sunny Beach’s best spots Viking club needs no introduction.
Day 4
Saturday
Its Saturday, hands down our favourite days of your first week, its time to get messy at the resorts best paint party. A guaranteed sell out and a must do on the Sunny Beach party calendar. Top Tip - Don’t wear your best clothes you will literally be covered head to toe in paint!
Day 5
Sunday
After an action packed first few days its time to chill, nothing beats a Sunday pool day, pop the top off a corona sit back and relax. as the sun starts to set we light up the BBQ for an all you can eat feast the perfect way to cap off your first few days in the sun.
Day 6
Monday
For those who haven’t secured their perfect summer job just yet, Lets get down to some serious graft, come meet the rep team in the pool bar at 12pm, from here we will have a list of all the jobs we have available and match you up to something that we hope is a perfect fit for you! Remember we can’t work miracles, so please attend if you are serious about finding that dream summer job!
Day 7
Tuesday
The end of your first week is finally here and we hope it has been everything you dreamt it would be! Lets cap the week of in true Summer Takeover style with a fancy dress bar crawl. The best fancy dress wins a free bottle of vodka on us so remember to put the effort in on this one!
Day 8
And Beyond...
Now your first week is over its time to settle down into the real Sunny Beach workers lifestyle. Hopefully you have now secured your dream job working in Sunny Beach, however if not please don’t hesitate to speak to your reps they are there to help you every step of the way. For those looking stay longer than the first month we have a limited number of spaces available for ST guests throughout June, July & August.

Just finished my second year abroad with Summer Takeover and they’ve made it just as amazing as the last!
I went on the 16th of may, was a bit quiet at the start but couple weeks later it got rammed with workers and tourist's. I Had the privilege to work for tidal for the season it was insane. Met so many great people and i have life long friends from it, defiantly doing it again next season. Peace
Summer takeover was honestly best experience I had working abroad I’ve gone with this company two years in a row I would definitely recommend summer takeover to anyone who wants to work abroad.

This was definitely a summer to remember. Summer takeover were a massive help on the job front and great people who you could speak to whether you just wanted a chat or if you had a problem. Very friendly and would recommend anyone who want to go out and work through ST. They provided me a job on Tidal as a VIP host and it was hands down the best job on the island, making friends for life.

If you’re always up for a party and have the stamina to go all summer, then working in Sunny Beach is the right choice for you. There are so many bar crawls to choose from, you’ll be spoiled for choice. The party truly never ends here.
If you’re not the biggest personality, don’t worry. Loads of our working holiday guests come by themselves and it’s so easy to make friends when you’re all in it together. Our Facebook group and social network, SummerSphere, allow you to get chatting to all of our guests before you head out to work in Sunny Beach.
What type of jobs are available in sunny-beach-bulgaria?
Most jobs in Sunny Beach will revolve around the nightlife, such as bar work, restaurant work, ticket selling and working for some of the biggest events companies in Bulgaria. If you’re a natural performer, you’ll be right at home guiding the bar crawls. Confident and energetic people will excel - not only will you be herding plenty of tipsy tourists, you’ll be providing entertainment and joining in on the fun along the way.
When is the best time to go to ?
The season in Sunny Beach runs from May to September. Most of our working holiday guests find that a month here just isn’t long enough. We recommend committing to two months working in Sunny Beach initially, so you can experience as much of the season as possible, then you can always stay on longer if you want.
We recommend going out a bit before the season starts so you can get used to your surroundings before the streets are filled with tourists and partiers.
What are the wages like in sunny-beach-bulgaria?
The wages in Sunny Beach are generous, and this will go far as the cost of living is minimal. You’ll find that food and drink in general are pretty cheap, and if you’re doing bar work or running the bar crawls, you’ll get good deals on drinks.
More money can be found in the commission based roles like ticket selling or shot selling. If you can talk a big game and sell a lot, you’ll find that you’re never short of money.
How many hours a day will I be working in sunny-beach-bulgaria?
Hours and shifts for jobs in Sunny Beach will vary depending on your job of choice. Ticket sellers can expect to be out enhancing their tan on the job, whilst bar work will obviously start later. The average shift is between 4-6 hours, this leaves you with plenty of free time to visit the waterpark, lounge by the beach, or even try the local paintball track!

What happens when I arrive in sunny-beach-bulgaria?
Our reps will meet you at the hotel to get you all settled in to work in Sunny Beach. This is when the party begins - treat this first week as the holiday part of your working abroad experience. Between welcome meetings, Summer Takeover bar crawls, epic parties and sightseeing you won’t have a spare moment!
You can get to know your fellow guests in your first week in true Summer Takeover style. You’ll explore the resort together, picking your favourite new bars and clubs. Between a Blue Moon Beach Party, The Original Bar Crawl and a Sundown Boat Party we’ll help you suss out your favourite spots, and when you’re ready to shake the hangover there’s plenty of beautiful scenery to explore.
At the end of the week, you’ll start your job trials. Our reps will find your perfect job pretty fast and you should be celebrating an offer that night. Now to start your amazing summer working holiday in Sunny Beach.
What happens after my first month with Summer Takeover?
After the initial 28 days you’ll have the option to extend your stay in our accommodation at a discounted rate, or our devoted reps can assist in finding alternative accommodation if you’d prefer.
Visas & Work Permits
If you are an EU national and/or hold a passport issued in an EU country you will likely not need to concern yourself with a work permit/visa however we would always advise you to check this prior to travel. If you are unsure of your right to work or have any questions about the process, please reach out to us.
